The Easter Candle Is Lit Forevermore!

WALT - understand the meanings and symbols on the Easter Candle.

5 Easter Candle facts:
1. The Easter candle is also named Paschal Candle.
2. The Candle is lit when Jesus is risen on Easter Sunday.
3. The grains of incense represent the wounds of Jesus.
4. The Easter Candle is only lit at Eucharist celebrations during the 50 days of Easter  and afterwards during baptisms and funerals.
5. The Alpha and the Omega symbols are the first and last letters in the Greek alphabet and it represent that God is the beginning and end of time.
