Do you look after Earth?

WALT - understand how something works and why we use it.

I know this when I write an explanation about Earth and question my audience.

Earth is a planet found in space or in the milky way. Have you ever been to space? Earth is round as a ball and it is filled with 30% land and 70% water. On land, there are living things like insects, humans, animals, mammals and many others. What sort of animals are your favourite? Animals live on land and breathe through their lungs while the animals who live underwater breathe through their gills.

Earth takes care of the animals by growing grass for the plant-eater animals. Are you a vegetarian or a carnivore? Under the dirt and grass of the Earth, there is the crust of Earth and under the crust is magma/lava. Magma only appears when a volcano erupts. Have you ever seen one? Sometimes there are natural disasters that happens on Earth, for example, tornadoes or Tsunamis.

Meteors come from space and when it comes too close to Earth. It is like rain falling down from the sky and that can be very dangerous.  

Earth is filled with buildings and towns. Some are shops, offices or schools. A school is where you can learn many new things and learn different languages when you are young. After you have passed Senior school, you can go to college. What year are you in now?

We need to look after Earth by looking after its creations and animals in it. Growing trees and plants can help animals and enrich our environment. Plants can help us by producing oxygen for animals and all living things. What can you do to help nature grow?

This book is about a boy who finds out about his teacher Mrs Hexwood is a real witch.

A boy called Ryan doesn’t like his new teacher Mrs Hexwood because she says that he is too talkative and rude. She would keep him in class to twiddle with his fingers. The next day, he was surprised to see that Mrs Hexwood is now his new next-door neighbour.

I liked the part where he was about to tell his friend about the strange thing about the teacher, but he was under her control and she shut his mouth closed and makes him sit back down on his seat.

I think that people who like witches and schools should read this book.
