This data shows that this student had first started off with the maximum score of the spelling test. However, as this student progresses through the weeks, his/her scores consecutively loses memory and interest in his/her tests and begin losing a word per week.

For R.E, Room 8 were learning about the assumption of Mary and the Feast of the Assumption. We noted and created a drawing/Prezi to present our finished product. 

Sit Back And Relax with the New and Efficient Seed Life Jel-cket!

The Seed Life Jel-cket is a caring parent for the plants that are a pain in the neck to care for. If you need a cheap plant starter kit, you can stop in your tracks right now!

  The gel is carefully and specially made out of tiny syringes that ‘drug’ the plant. The certain drug doesn’t include any negative side effects; the plant will still grow healthily, live longer and will be as green as ever. The gel detects the difference between the surface of a mammal, plant and even fish (for safety reasons)! Worried about bugs and creepy crawlies? No worry, when given the ‘drug’, it is given an ability to produce its own pesticide, strong enough to kill bugs, but not enough to sicken humans. The smell, taste or look will not change during the production of the pesticide.

   Interested? Well, there’s more! The gel is activated through contact with water for 15 minutes, where it will then release its syringe onto the seed. Because of its gel form, it’s willing to take the form of any seed, big or small doesn’t matter to the gel. Once sunk to the bottom of the water, the gel will communicate and teach the plant through electrical waves invisible to the naked eye. This is possible by the pain of drowning the seed, where it releases electrical waves, detectable by the gel and transferring back the seed’s waves into a different signal; teaching it when to stop and when to start drinking the water.

  That’s not all! The gel becomes a special wetsuit for the plant! Giving proper space of oxygen and feeding it water, that’s right; water! As the drug is injected into the seed, it gives it the ability to convert water into food capable of giving extreme nutritional value to the plant. The gel absorbs the water and filters it using its skin, storing the inedible particles in its skin, but far away enough for the seed to prevent contact. As it ages, the gel will soon be made up mostly of contamination and gel; slowly breaking down with the water, as soon as this stage starts, the gel gives little amounts of contamination to the seed, where the amount of dirty water given to the plant is continuously built up until it is fully immune to the dirty particles. By this time, the seed will have opened to a sprout; being bare of the gel, floating at the skin of the water and having the knowledge to feed on its nasty/clean pool.

Apple Crumble Procedure

Ingredients -

> 4 Apples

> 2 Tbsp

> Water (to cover bottom of pot)

> 1 Tbsp Cinnamon

> ½c flour

> ¼c sugar

> ¼ tspn

> 3 Tsp butter

Items -

> Pot

> Peeler

> Chopping board

> Hand Blender

> Bowl

> Round pyrex dish

> Microwave

Method -

1. Blend in butter and flour
2. Mix baking powder and sugar into flour
3. Peel, core and chop apples, add to pot water
4. Place onto stove, high, boil
5. Remove from heat, add sugar and cinnamon
6. Put back onto stove, stir until soft
7. Scoop onto pyrex dish, sprinkle crumbles over apples
8. Place into microwave cooks on high for 6-7 minutes.

How To Make A Weet Bix & Stewed Apple Parfait!

In Room 8 we created a healthy parfait using our leftover fruits.

Ingredients - 

> Stewed Apple (Sliced)

> Low Fat Vanilla Bean Yoghurt

> Weet Bix Bar

> Chopped Bananas

Method - 

1. Spoon an appropraite amount of stewed apples into the cup

2. Crush Weet Bix bar and place on top of the stewed apples

3. Scoop spoon full of vanilla bean yoghurt on top of Weet Bix

4. Place chopped bananas on top of yoghurt 

5. Eat out parfait

Milk, Detergent & Food Colouring Mashup

In science we observed items when 2 (or more) substances are mixed together.

Items needed -

> Plastic Container/Dish

> 50 ml Detergent

> 200 ml Milk (with fat)

> Eyedropper

> 4 Different Colour Food Colouring

Method -

1. Pour milk into plastic dishDrop 3-5 drops different food colouring onto each corner on dish using eye dropper
2. Clean inside of eye dropper or use spare
3. Drop 3 drops detergent on middle of milk
4. Observe what happens next

What really happened? -

In the detergent, it is made up of certain chemicals that cut up fat. When the detergent is in the milk it starts to create a small spiral-like ripple that is not visible to the eye since the milk is pure white. When food colouring is added, it can show what happens in the milk when the fat is being cut up.
